Syed Ali Rizvi schooled at La Martiniere Girls and then moved to La Martiniere College, Lucknow. In 1977 he joined Aligarh Muslim University and completed his BSc (hons) Chemistry and a MBA (specialising in Sales and Marketing). He is currently CEO for SPS Alfachem, a fine chemicals manufacturer and a distributor of herbal raw materials, cosmeticals, certified food, drug and cosmetic colorants. SPS Alfachem represents nearly 80 US companies for their product distribution in under and un-represented areas with exports to over 47 countries.
Ali has humbly served as the President and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Aligarh Alumni Association of New England (www.aaane.us). Ali has also served as the National President of the Federation of Aligarh Alumni Associations, (which is the apex coordinating body of all the Aligarh Alumni Associations in North America), and continues to be on its Board of Trustees (www.aligs.org).He actively works to improve access to quality education for the marginalised in India and is very passionate about the visually challenged. He is currently serving as the President of Vision-aid (www.vision-aid.org).
Ali proudly serves on the Executive Board of the India Association of Greater Boston (www.iagb.org), an apex body of Indian associations in the New England area. Since 2006, Ali is on the Executive Board of SSESA, Inc,. and has been involved with mentoring of students from India who wish to pursue higher studies in the US. (www.ssesa.us).

Dr. Ali Ashter has worked on developing medical devices from concept to commercialization, and in process development. He received his B.S in 1998 in Chemical Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University, India and received his Ph.D. in 2008 in Plastics Engineering from University of Massachusetts Lowell.. He performed post-doctoral research on next generation formable films for the automotive industry at McMaster University. He has been on the Board of Directors of the Medical Plastics division of the Society of Plastics Engineers since 2012. He has published two books: ‘Thermoforming of Single and Multilayer Laminates’ at the end of 2013, and ‘Introduction to Bioplastics Engineering’ in 2016.

Siddharth Jeevan is an alumnus of La Martiniere College, Lucknow (Cornwallis house, class of 1990). Sid serves as Vice President of Application Development and IT at a leading Boston based Financial Services Company. Previously, he has served in Technical architect role at startups in the New England area. He has a B. Tech from IIT BHU, Varanasi and has been a resident of Boston area since 1998. Sid enjoys spending his free time with family and volunteering.

Dr. Kaplesh Kumar

Kaplesh Kumar, an alumnus of La Martiniere College, Lucknow and its Martin House Day Prefect for 1963-64, is a Registered Patent Attorney and presently serves as General Counsel for Mayflower Communications Company, Inc.. Previously, he was on the technical staff of The Charles Stark Draper Laboratory, Inc., a large MIT R&D spin-off, with technical and program management responsibilities.
He has a B. Tech from IIT Kanpur, Sc.D. from MIT, and J.D. Magna Cum Laude from the New England School of Law.
His 18 U.S. patents include the fundamental patent on the key enabling hydrogen storage alloy technology of the Nickel Metal Hydride battery, and one a new approach to analyzing and treating an interstitial lung disease.
His numerous publications include a widely cited Applied Physics Review monograph and an online medical journal publication on a new approach to analyzing and managing disease, particularly most age related (inflammatory) diseases.He is Past President of MIT’s Sangam, India Association of Greater Boston, and the Indian American Forum for Political Education - New England chapter. He co-founded IIT SINE, and served as its first Vice President - Kanpur. His biography has been listed in many reference publications including Who's Who in the World.
